Our Equipment
Sail Ready Services uses a 3200 PSI pressure washer with multiple nozzles and adjustable working pressure. Higher pressure is a tool, not a default. Most of the work is done well below the machine's maximum, using the right nozzle at the right distance for the surface. The goal is a clean hull with the gelcoat, paint, and fittings intact.
Surface Safety
Every surface on a sailboat has its own limits. Gelcoat, bottom paint, vinyl decals, nonskid, canvas, teak, and older or corroded fittings all get evaluated before the trigger is pulled. Aggressive blasting is avoided — especially on decals, edges of nonskid, and any hardware that shows corrosion or looseness.

- Detergent and dwell time used before higher pressure
- Decals, vents, and canvas handled with a lighter touch
- Older or corroded fittings flagged, not blasted
Bottom Paint & Runoff
Antifouling paint contains biocides. Sail Ready Services works with yacht club and marina environmental rules for runoff, collection, and disposal — including tarping, drop cloths, or working only in approved wash areas when required. If your club has specific rules, share them at quote time and we'll plan the visit around them.

Pressure washing is quoted per boat. Please use the current pricing shown on the Sail Ready Services website and quote form as a starting point — final pricing depends on hull length, growth level, access, yard rules, and whether polishing or wet sanding is added. A written quote is provided before work starts.
